NETAJI: Personification of Fearlessness
The great soul who made his country's burden of sorrow his own...
Netaji called upon people to sacrifice their all and said: "For the present I can offer you nothing except hunger, thirst, privation, forced marches and death. But if you follow me in life and in death as I am confident you will, I shall lead you to victory and freedom."
He had decided to continue the war of independence from some other territory.....but destiny ordained otherwise.........he was taken to another territory by the destiny....
His message to Indians from deathbed: "Jab apney mulk wapis jayein to mulki bhaiyon ko batana ki mein aakhiri dam tak mulk ki azadi key liyay larta raha hoon; woh Jange Azadi ko jari rakhen. Hindustan zaroor azad hoga, us ko koi gulam nahin rakh sakta."
'When you go back to the motherland, tell my countrymen that I have been fighting for the liberation of my country till the last breathe of my life; they must continue the struggle, India shall be free and before long. No power can keep India enslaved any longer'.
Many Indians find it hard to believe that the man who could fool the notorious British Intelligence and escape from the watchful eyes of British officers to Berlin is no more.
It was Netaji's belief: " In this mortal world everything perishes and will perish--- but ideas, ideals and dreams do not...........the ideas, ideals and dreams of one generation are bequeathed to the next."
